If I'm correct Frank Yerby wrote of an African warrior of much renown, who do to the jealousy of many including his king, wound up a victim of the TransAtlantic slave violation. In a subsequent book, he led a successful mass escape from the benighted. How wound the hero Imaro immersed in a traditional society  respond to such an occurrence in his world?
