Thanks, Kirk. These illustrations were done by Thomas Davis, the artist of the Meji Book One and Book Two covers. He's a beast with pencils.

WOW!!! This is truly a beautiful piece. The scene and pose of the subjects invokes a theme, which is very christen, like forgiveness or salvation; very moving, very human.
