Home of Sword and Soul
Yesterday I discovered these amazing images by artist Milenko. I contacted him, asking if I could develop a story based on these images and he agreed. When I asked him to provide a backstory, I was amazed at how similar the concept was to a storyline I developed years ago titled, Born Warrior. The difference? In my scenario the warriors were baesd on the Maasai, and killing a lion was part of the manhood ritual.
So I've combined the concepts to come up with an action filled concept. Here's the pitch:
Title: Born Warrior. While on an assignment in Asia, a Zulu mercenary team discovers their homeland is under attack by the rival Brandenburg Corporation, a tech heavy mercenary guild. They're ordered to abandon their current assignment and launch a counterattack on the Brandenburg stronghold nestled in the Barvarian Alps. The challenge? This is the first assignment for this team. Their leader is 15 year old Dingiswayo Ukombe, a teen one year past his initiation rights. Together they must fight their way across a war-ravaged Europe then strike a blow to turn the tide against their homeland.
So what do you think?

Comment by Bro anton on January 30, 2013 at 8:50pm I like the premise, Milton. On average it takes about 3 years to produce a us army special forces journeyman. So for 15 year olds to be on a mission like this, thats some hard corp ish. Sounds awesome!
