Started this one on , 8/19/2011, and finished on 8/28/2011. I haven’t been able to post it up until now because of being busier than usual. At first, I was planning on doing some various pieces of fan art, but then, I saw some pics of women in evening gowns. I decided to make two of those the basis of my next piece, and, for the setting, I used various references of walk in closets in large houses. The final piece is basically a woman sitting on a bedroom dresser in the middle of a large walk in closet.

Endogenous Delineation

This picture started out with a picture reference of Aloe Blacc. I didn’t really know where I was going exactly, but, eventually, it became another self portrait.
The piece starts out with the character sketch. Once I lay down all the lines here, I moved on to adding the clothing & skin tone. The character model is wearing a flat cap, button down shirt, and a sweater vest. Next, I started on the table. I still wasn’t sure what I’d put on it, but, eventually, the Cintiq & pen holder were added. With the back wall in place, the final part (the emblem) was added in photoshop.
With everything in place, the final thing to do was simply erasing parts of the background that mixed in with the character model.
